Our Yatra begins at the revered Yamunotri Dham, where the Yamuna River originates. Situated at the base of the Bandar Poonch peak’s eastern flank, the Yamunotri Shrine holds deep historical significance.

The trek to Yamunotri offers breathtaking views of towering peaks and dense forests, providing a spiritual and visual feast for the pilgrims.

The sacred journey continues to Gangotri Dham, the birthplace of the holy Ganga River. Surrounded by deodar and pine trees, the 18th-century Gangotri temple stands on the left bank of the Bhagirathi River. The pilgrimage includes a visit to Gaumukh, the primary source of the Ganga, and the Bhagirath Shila, where King Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva.

Vishwanath Temple :
The Vishwanath Temple in North India is among the oldest Shiva temples in the country. Rebuilt in 1857 in an ancient architectural style by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri District, Uttarakhand, it stands in the heart of the city. Adorned with a massive iron trident symbolizing divine presence, the temple also hosts minor shrines dedicated to Ganeshji, SakshiGopal, and Markandeya Rishi. Rituals like AkhandJyoti, AkhandAbhishek, and daily aarti enrich its spiritual ambiance. Known as ‘Saumya Varanasi’ in the SkundaPuran, Uttarkashi is believed to be Lord Shiva’s dwelling during the Kaliyug, recognized as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
Shakti Temple :
Directly opposite the Vishwanath Temple stands the Shakti Temple. Here, a large trident, measuring approximately 6 meters in height with a circumference of 90 centimeters at the base, is prominently displayed. While there are varied opinions regarding its composition, it appears that the upper part is crafted from iron while the lower part is made of copper. According to legend, this Shakti trident, instilled with the power of Durga (Shakti), was used to intimidate demons, hence its name. Ever since, it has been enshrined at this location.
